Lady Liadrin – the first new hero in Hearthstone

Blizzard producers are very persuasive when it comes to their games portofolio, whether is Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Diablo or Starcraft.

Just a couple of days after Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 have received updates to ensure compatibility with new systems and new modern hardware configuration, just see a couple of new details have appeared also about the great game Hearthstone.

Whispers of the Old Gods expansion pack for Hearthstone is available since May, but before that there is another type of digital content designed to generate interest to all fans of the game. A new hero is available in Hearthstone named Lady Liadrin. This is a Blood Elf Paladin in World of Warcraft and its relation with the game is not just the name of the character and its amazing skills. Plus, new special missions are available now.

Basically, to unlock the character in Hearthstone, you will have to play with it until level 20 in World of Warcraft. Although you would think this is a way by which Blizzard hopes to increase the number of subscribers to World of Warcraft, you’re wrong. To reach any character in the game at level 20 is sufficient the Starter Edition version that you can actually download for free. Also free, you can create a character to reach level 20.

If you happen to be excited about the gaming experience, you can at any time become permanent subscriber to World of Warcraft, but it not required. Indeed, this is a pretty good strategy to entice in more players and to present them the world of the game WOW, but it is a free experience for the player, so the producers can’t be blamed for nothing. If you happen to like the game, it’s simply up to you if you want to buy and explore the full version and the extensions or not.
